Last week some of our high school students had the honor of visiting the Kashia Pomo Rancheria. The purpose of this field study was to explore local Indigenous Cultures and to share information about our school with Kashia School students. Students also made a presentation about the CLS & Passages program, enjoyed a nature walk and plant identification tour, and visited the ceremonial Roundhouse where they received teachings about the Roundhouse and enjoyed a blessing song from two community elders.
