The 4th-5th grade class has been meeting regularly with Keira Poehlmann, Naturalist Educator with Mendocino County Office of Education. She recently shared a lesson about fire ecology. These outdoor-based science lessons are part of a pilot project that our school is participating in with MCOE this year - it's been a great success so far and we look forward to continuing with this program next school year!
